Concord/Lexington Day Tea april 19, 2009

This will be a fun day and it wil honor the first day of the American Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775. Can you see the small band of Colonists facing the mighty Redcoats as they marched toward the town green in Concord Massachusetts? If you have an ancestor that "answered the Lexington Alarm" that day --- be especially proud. It was more than just a physical showing, it was a show of resolve. I have one ancestor that made that bold move. He was Ebenezer Sanford. He was an Artificer, and on May 1, 1778 he drowned while installing the great chain across the Hudson River at West Point. He is my original Patriot in DAR. patj
